Michiko Jo is a counsel knowledge lawyer with Hogan Lovells, based in London, where she advises clients on both transactional and regulatory matters relating to their EU and UK operations and product launches, with a focus on supply chain related commercial contracts and EU/UK regulations including consumer law, e-commerce, product safety and payment-related regulations. Her broad practice has allowed her to assist clients with both contractual and regulatory considerations that are relevant to their business along the life cycle of products and supply chains when they operate as a manufacturer, distributor, retailer and/or marketplace. Her occasional participation in the discussions of legislative proposals and consultation through external forums has enabled her to gain understanding of the objectives behind regulatory changes and the industry’s views and priorities. Her insights and genuine interest in identifying legislative and enforcement trends and a legal development that is new in one area but not so new in another area can help clients see things beyond addressing their immediate concerns and make strategic decisions. Michiko joined Hogan Lovells in January 2023 where she provides assistance as a knowledge specialist while continuing with client advisory work.
