Matthias Schlau is an Associate in Hogan Lovells’ Antitrust & Competition department. He offers legal advice regarding every aspect of German and European competition law. His area of expertise include both national and international cartel investigations and internal investigations, cartel damage litigation, merger control proceedings and distribution and contract related competition law issues. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Matthias studied law at the Johanens Gutenberg University Mainz and participated in a competition law related LL.M. program at the University of Glasgow. In addition, he completed traineeships in different international law firms.
