Marek Holka is a partner at Cechova & Partners with more than nine years of legal practice. He primarily deals with competition law and pharmaceutical law. Marek is regularly involved in merger control cases. He has been involved in advising several multinational companies within antitrust investigations and proceedings at the Slovak national competition authority, including on-site assistance during inspections, and regularly advises clients on antitrust compliance issues, including revising and setting up of distribution models and contracts, internal antitrust audits and compliacne trainings. In the pharmaceutical industry, he regularly assists clients in reviewing their distribution models, preparation of contracts with wholesalers, pharmacies, healthcare professionals and other partners, in proceedings concerning pricing and reimbursement of medicinal products, review of advertising and educational materials, preparation of contract documentation for biomedical research and clinical trials, as well as in other activities in the area of parmaceutical regulation and compliance.
