As an associate in the office in The Hague, she specialises in regulatory matters, including telecommunications law, competition law and data protection. Businesses in the telecommunications, postal and information technology (IT) sectors often see themselves confronted with complex regulatory frameworks, having to deal with both national and EU law. She regularly advises parties in these sectors in disputes with competitors and supervisory authorities. As a member of Bird & Bird’s Competition and Tech & Comms Groups, she advises on the legal and practical aspects of the aforementioned regulatory frameworks, administrative disputes and (private) enforcement proceedings, and she represents clients in contentious administrative matters.
