Lisa Huett is a partner in the Competition Law Group at King & Wood Mallesons. She specialises in competition law, consumer protection and product liability with a particular focus on the application and enforcement of Australia’s cartel laws. Lisa has advised extensively in relation to competition law matters, including preparing responses to ACCC investigations, advising on the competition implications of clients’ proposals and conduct, and assessing the application of the Australian Consumer Law to advertising, promotions and contract terms. Lisa regularly assists clients with ACCC investigations including responding to mandatory disclosure notices, providing strategic direction for dealing with ACCC enquiries and defending clients in ACCC enforcement proceedings. In the cartel space, she also advises clients on immunity and leniency matters and cooperating with ACCC investigations. Lisa also provides valuable assistance to companies with multiple channels to market, including advising on pricing issues and drafting supply and distribution arrangements to ensure competition law compliance, especially in industries where commercial dealings between competitors are common.
