Laure de La Raudière was appointed president of ARCEP in January 2021. A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and a telecommunications engineer, Laure de La Raudière began her career at France Telecom - Orange in 1990, where she successively held several positions: head of the "Business Customers" department at the South Paris regional office, "Major Accounts" director, and then departmental director of Eure-et-Loir. After having been a partner in a start-up specialized in data-mining (Pertinence Data Intelligence), she founded Madisy-Conseil in 2003, then became Managing Director of NAVIGACOM, two telecommunications consulting companies, mainly for large "user" groups. Since 2007, Laure de La Raudière has been a Member of Parliament for Eure-et-Loir (Agir Ensemble), and a member of the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly. Particularly involved in digital issues, she has been the co-rapporteur of several information reports, notably on the neutrality of the Internet and networks (2010), the application of the 2009 law on the fight against the digital divide (2011), the impact of telecoms regulation on the telecoms sector (2013), the development of the French digital economy (2014), connected objects (2016), digital coverage of the territory (2017), the uses of blockchain (2018), the challenge of very high speed broadband for all: General Public and Enterprises (2020), the impact of the health crisis on the digital and postal sector (2020)... Since 2018, she co-chaired the parliamentary study group "Cybersecurity and digital sovereignty" of the National Assembly.
