Laura Alexander is Vice President of Policy at The American Antitrust Institute. Laura was a partner at Cohen Milstein in the Antitrust Practice Group for 8 years. Prior to joining Cohen Milstein, she was an associate in the Litigation Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2008 to 2012, and represented corporate clients on intellectual property and antitrust issues. She previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She attended Reed College, earning a B.A. in Mathematics, and earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. During law school, she served as the Senior Articles Editor to the Georgetown Law Journal and authored “Monopsony and the Consumer Harm Standard,” 95 Geo. L.J. 1611 (2007).
