Katy Forsstrom partners with clients to address and resolve numerous issues impacting their businesses. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations and related civil litigation across various industries, particularly involving antitrust laws and the False Claims Act. Katy is experienced with factual investigation, electronic discovery and document management, mediation, and advocacy to the government. Her approach to legal disputes balances the practical with the creative, in the interests of the timely and efficient resolution of problems. She also has a robust pro bono and court-appointed practice, focusing on civil rights litigation and representing victims of human trafficking. Katy has been active in the Denver legal community since she was in law school. She served as president of the University of Denver’s chapter of the National Women Law Students’ Organization and worked as a mediator through the Student Law Office, bringing parties together in the early stages of litigation to reach settlement.
