Katia Duncker joined Bird & Bird in 2004. Nowadays, as a partner in the Helsinki office and head of the firm’s competition & EU law group, she specialises in complex competition and corporate matters. Over the years, Katia Duncker has worked on a number of cutting-edge competition law and public procurement cases for prestigious clients, both nationally and internationally. She also has extensive experience in advising on commercial and corporate M&A transactions, and in litigation proceedings relating to competition law and public procurement matters. She was Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Association for Competition law from 2012 to 2014, and have been a board member since 2006. Alongside her native Finnish, she speaks English and French.
