Dr. Julia Molestina is an Senior Associate at Allen & Overy since 2022 in Munich. She advises clients on all aspects of European and German competition law. Julia has extensive experience in advising clients on competition law damage claims. She also advises clients on merger control notifications as well as on cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission. Julia is a member of the German Competition Law Association (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht e.V.) and the Competition Law Forum Munich (Münchner Kartellrechtsforum e.V.). She has professional proficiency in German and English. Julia studied Law at the University of Cologne, Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and University College London. She has been a Research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and graduated Doctor of Laws in 2019. In the years 2016 to 2019, Julia worked as an attorney in the competition-law practice at Gleiss Lutz in Munich.
