Joanna’s practice focuses on EU and multi-jurisdictional competition law. She assists clients with large-scale, complex merger transactions as well as global cartel investigations before the European Commission and other international competition authorities. She works across a broad variety of sectors including consumer goods, energy & natural resources and technology. She also advises global financial investors such as sovereign wealth funds and state-owned enterprises. Joanna has been recognised in both the 2017 and 2018 editions of Who’s Who Legal: Competition - Future Leaders. She speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French.
