Jenny Connolly was, until March 2020 a partner in the antitrust, competition and trade group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Tokyo. A significant part of her practice involved getting merger clearances for clients in complex, difficult cross border transactions, including remedies cases which required coordination across jurisdictions. She has acted for a number of the world’s largest technology companies in high profile investigations by the EC and MOFCOM, the UK competition authority and numerous Asian and European NCAs.
