Chair of Advocacy and member of the Board of Directors of ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel) Europe since 2016. Vice President and Associate General Counsel of HP Inc, responsible for the areas of Litigation worldwide (except U.S.) and Regulatory Affairs in EMEA since 2011. Formerly Legal Director of the Imaging and Printing business of HP in EMEA (2002-2010). Associated professor at IE Law School (Madrid), where he acts as academic director of its Executive Program “Legal for Digital Business Transformation” since 2002. Non-Governmental Advisor at the ICN since 2016. Member of the Academic Board at FIDE since 2007. Member of the European Advisory Board of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR). Member of the Board of Arbitrators and Mediators for Technological Commercial Disputes at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Javier earned a degree with honors in Law from University Complutense of Madrid (1992), jointly with a specialization degree with honors in Business Administration (specialty “Jurídico-Empresarial”) from Colegio Universitario San Pablo Madrid (1993) and a postgraduate diploma in EU Competition Law at King’s College of London (2009). He is admitted to the Madrid Lawyers Bar since 1992.
