Jan Kupčík is an attorney at law and head of the EU & Competition law practice at Schoenherr, based Prague. Before now, he worked in the Prague office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and Skils law firm. He has advised on small and large scale antitrust proceedings, private enforcement cases and merger control. He also holds a Ph.D. degree from Masaryk University, Czech Republic. He advises client’s on competition law aspects of their businesses (including merger control, competition compliance, antitrust proceedings), foreign investment (FDI) screenings and foreign subsidies.
