


Irene Calboli
Irene specializes in Intellectual Property, International Trade, Art and Cultural Heritage Law. As professor of law with two decades of experience, she has authored (and edited) many books, journal articles, and book chapters. Her current publications focus on overlapping IP rights, trademarks and geographical indications, and the exhaustion of IP rights. Irene regularly acts as Expert for national governments and international organizations. She is an elected member of the American Law Institute and associate member of the Singapore Academy of Law, and currently serves, inter alia, as member of the Council of the International Law Association (Singapore Branch) and member of the Legislation and Regulation Committee of the International Trademark Association. She is regularly invited to speak at professional and academic events and has held visiting position in several universities in North America, Europe, and Asia. For the 2017-2020 period, Irene has been granted the status of Fulbright Specialist.
