Georgian Competition Authority (Georgia)

Competition Agency of Georgia was created on the basis of the Law of Georgia „on Competition” and in line with the Regulation approved by the Decree №288 of the Government of Georgia of 14.04.2014. The Competition Agency is an independent legal entity of public law that is accountable to the Prime Minister of Georgia and the society. The main objective of the Agency is the implementation of competition policy, creation and protection of conditions for promotion of competition in Georgia and for this purpose prevention and elimination of all types of anti-competitive agreements and actions.
