Ignacio García-Perrote Martínez is a lawyer at Uría Menéndez. He previously worked as a researcher at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and, until February 2022, as a Blue Book Trainee in Unit A4 (European Competition Network and Private Enforcement) of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition. His research is focused on competition law damages claims and, in particular, the impact of the passing-on of overcharges. Ignacio holds a PhD in Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2021), he was a visiting scholar at King’s College London in 2019 and Uppsala University in 2020, and has presented his research in international and national conferences. Furthermore, Ignacio is a qualified lawyer in Spain registered with the Madrid Bar Association.
