Victoria Godefrood-Berra is Deputy Head of Competition & State aids Sector at the Secrétariat
Général des Affaires Européennes (French Prime Minister Service). Victoria Godefrood-
Berra has developed experience with French companies of all sizes as a lawyer particularly
in matters of antitrust, merger control and compliance. Her expertise covers varied sectors as
energy, food industry, chemicals, financial services and consumer products. Prior to joining
the Secrétariat Général des Affaires Européennes in 2021, Victoria Godefrood-Berra
practiced severals years at Baker McKenzie, Gide, Vivaldi-Avocats (in Competition law) and
at Hogan Lovells (in Regulatory & Corporate law) in Paris, Brussels and Lille. Victoria
Godefrood-Berra is also the General Secretary of the association Le Cercle de la
Compliance. Admitted to the Lille Bar in 2017, she is a also graduate of EDHEC Business
School (Programme Grande École - Bachelor, Master’s degree in Management, LL.M. Law &
Tax Management, 2014) and the Catholic University of Lille (Master’s degree in Business
law, 2014).
