Case Handler

Diana Calciu is currently case handler at the European Commission in the Horizontal State aid enforcement unit. Prior to that, she worked as a senior associate lawyer in international law firm GIDE, based in their Brussels office. She advised multinational companies and public authorities in a wide range of cases in the field of EU State aid law, EU antitrust law and EU regulatory law and regularly appeared in front of the Court of Justice. Diana holds a double law degree in both Civil and Common laws from the Universities of Cambridge and Paris II- Panthéon Assas. She also holds a Masters of Laws in Private Law from Paris II and an LLM in Law and Economics of Competition Law from the Brussels School of Competition. She is a qualified lawyer in France (Avocat au Barreau de Paris).
