Daniel von Brevern is a partner at Eversheds Sutherland in Düsseldorf and heads the German Competition, EU and Trade practice group. He advises clients on all areas of competition law, in particular on German, European and international merger control, on cartel investigations and follow-on damage claims. In addition, he focusses on FDI/investment control proceedings and European state aid law. Daniel von Brevern has special experience in the automotive, banking/insurance, energy/renewable energy, telecommunications as well as health & life sciences industries. Daniel is the author of numerous articles on merger control/competition law, FDI/investment control and European State aid law. He is a member of the German competition lawyers’ association (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht).
