Clio Angeli is a French qualified, EU antitrust and regulatory lawyer based in Brussels and London working as counsel for Norton Rose Fulbright. Clio has extensive experience on all aspects relating to the application of Articles 101 (cartels and anti-competitive agreements) and 102 (abuse of dominant position) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. She also advises clients on European Union and national merger control rules as well as state issues. Clio has a particular focus on the energy sector and financial institutions, where she advises specifically on competition and regulatory aspects in relation to cartels, anti-competitive agreements, abuse of market dominance and regulatory compliance issues under EU law. Clio joined our office as a trainee in October 2007 and has spent a year on secondment in our Paris office. Clio read law at the University of Luxembourg (Master in EU litigation) before taking the legal course of the London King’s College in Economics in Competition.
