Çiğdem Gizem Okkaoğlu is a senior associate at the competition and regulatory department of ELIG Gurkaynak Attorneys-at-Law. She holds a B.Sc degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University (2015), a B.A. degree in Economics from Anadolu University (2018) and an LL.B. degree from Ankara University (2019). She is currently working on her LLM degree in Private Law at Ankara University. Ms. Okkaoğlu has worked in the Turkish Competition Authority for nearly five years as an assistant competition expert, competition expert and enforcement officer. Following her departure from the Turkish Competition Authority and before joining ELİG-Gürkaynak, she worked in the competition law and regulation department of an international law firm in Turkey. She deals with abuse of dominance cases, merger control proceedings, restrictive practices and cartel investigations. She is fluent in English. She is a member of Ankara Bar.
