Carter Chim

Carter Chim is a barrister at law at Denis Chang’s Chambers, senior lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and warden of Swire Hall at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Carter Chim was a legal counsel in the Competition Commission (Hong Kong). Carter Chim is a specialist in competition law. He obtained his LLM in Competition Law (Distinction) from King’s College London on the British Chevening Postgraduate Scholarship in 2011. He also obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law in 2016. During his private practice as a barrister in Hong Kong in 2012-2015, he was briefed by the Competition Commission, the Office of the Communications Authority and private parties in relation to competition matters. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Bar Association’s Special Committee on Competition Law.
