Philipp Heller is an Associate Director in the Antitrust & Competition Practice of NERA Economic Consulting based in Berlin. His research interests are market design, mechanism design, competition policy and industrial organization. He helps law firms and corporations with matters relating to investigations by antitrust authorities, litigation and arbitration as well as public policy by using economic theory and econometrics. He has advised clients in various industries, including telecommunications, automotive, steel, chemicals, energy, airlines, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, payments, and consumer goods. Before joining NERA, he obtained a PhD in economics from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, a Masters degree in economic theory and econometrics from the Toulouse School of Economics and a BA in economics from the University of Cambridge (King’s College).
