


Barbara Samaniego
Barbara is an Associate at Axinn since September 2021. Barbara Samaniego’s practice focuses on antitrust law in a variety of contexts, including litigation, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Barbara earned her JD from The George Washington University Law School. While there, she acted as President of the law school’s Antitrust Law Association, worked as a research assistant for Professor William Kovacic, tutored students in antitrust law and torts, and interned at the Federal Trade Commission’s Office of International Affairs. She also served as the Finance and Marketing Editor for the George Washington University International Law Review. Barbara was a Legal Intern for the Department of Justice, Office of the Pardon Attorney, where she wrote commutation and pardon summaries for the Office of the Deputy Attorney General. During law school, Barbara received the Pro Bono Service Award for outstanding work in the public interest and was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar. She was a summer associate with Axinn in 2020. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University.
