Alexandre Maitrot de la Motte is the President of Paris-Est University and Professor of public law at Paris-Est Créteil University. He directs there the Master’s degree in "Tax Law" and has created the research team “Marchés, Institutions, Libertés”, which he led until 2017. In France as well as in foreign universities where he is regularly invited, Alexandre Maitrot de la Motte mainly teaches European tax law, international tax law and personal taxation. He has contributed to numerous publications on tax law and European law, and is the author of several personal works, including a “Traité de Droit Fiscal de l’Union européenne” (Bruylant, 3rd ed., 2022). He directs the “Revue de Droit Fiscal” and the Juris-Classeur “Fiscal International”.
