Adam Dec is a senior associate in Baker Botts’ Washington D.C. litigation practice and has represented clients in both federal and state courts. His practice ranges from complex commercial disputes to small business matters, including internal investigations, regulatory compliance, government contract negotiations and cost accounting disputes, and data privacy and security concerns. Adam Dec has also represented clients in a variety of criminal and civil matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and U.S. securities laws. Prior to joining Baker Botts, Adam Dec served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. During law school, he was the Chief Symposium Editor for The Review of Litigation. He also represented clients before Travis County Probate Court as a student-attorney in The University of Texas School of Law’s Mental Health Clinic, and also served as a legal intern in the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
