


Vincent Rious
Vincent Rious is Professor at the European University Institute in Florence. Previously an associate professor at Supélec, he was also a director at Deloitte Economic Consulting / Microeconomix. He is also adviser engineering at the Florence School of Regulation (European University Institute) in the Loyola de Palacio Energy Policy Programme. He has a master degree in engineering from the the French Grande Ecole Supélec (2004) and a PhD in economics from the University Paris 11 (2007). Vincent has extensive experience in terms of economic analysis of market and regulatory mechanisms, applied in particular to the energy systems and more broadly to infrastructure networks. Beside his activity in Microeconomix, Vincent also teaches different courses of economic analysis of the liberalisation of network industries in continuing and initial training at the French Grande Ecole Supelec and at the University Paris 11.
