Tristan Lécuyer is an Associate Principal based in RBB’s Paris office advising clients on a wide variety of competition matters before the European Commission and the French competition authority, as well as other national competition authorities. Tristan’s experience includes mergers and acquisitions, raising both horizontal and vertical concerns. His merger experience includes European Phase II mergers (Tronox/Cristal and Olympic/Aegean II notably), complex European Phase 1 investigations (AB InBev/SAB Miller and Plastic Omnium/Faurecia Exterior notably), as well as other transactions in Europe and elsewhere. Tristan also has extensive experience on antitrust investigations, including abuse of dominant position, alleged information exchanges, cartel investigations and follow-on damages. He recently advised TF1 in relation to a claim by M6, resulting in a complete dismissal by the French Competition Authority of all allegations that TF1 abused its dominant position in the market for television advertising. Tristan holds an MSc in Management from HEC Paris (Grande Ecole program) and an MSc in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE ParisTech. He also studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing where he took classes in the MBA program.
