Robert Kovar was Professor emeritus and former President of Strasbourg University. Professor Robert Kovar holds a Ph.D. in European Law. He has been Director of the Department of European Legal Studies at the College of Europe, where is has taught from 1970 to 1990. Professor Robert Kovar has been awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa by the Université Libre of Bruxelles. Professor Robert Kovar was co-director of the Dalloz Encyclopaedia of European law.
