Nathaniel L. Asker is special counsel in Fried Frank’s Antitrust and Competition Department, resident in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Asker focuses on antitrust aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures and represents clients before the US Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. He has advised clients in a range of industries, including technology and software, consumer products, aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, energy, and financial services, among others. Mr. Asker is recognized by leading publications including Chambers USA as “Up and Coming” in Antitrust, Legal 500 in Antitrust: Merger Control, and Super Lawyers. He writes and speaks frequently on a range of antitrust topics and is co-author of Fried Frank’s Antitrust and Competition Law Alert®, which reports on significant developments in antitrust and competition law. He currently serves on the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and is a member of the Antitrust Sections of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
