Dr. Mathias Traub, M.Jur (Oxford) started his professional career with an apprenticeship at a local savings bank. After studying law from 1997–2002, Mathias went on to earn a doctoral degree in 2003 from the University of Konstanz, having also performed visiting studies at the Southern Methodist University, Dallas/Texas. From 2003 to 2004, Mathias studied at the University of Oxford, obtaining a Master’s Degree in 2004. He then served as a legal trainee at a lower regional court in Stuttgart, including a stage at European Commission, DG Competition, Brussels. Mathias passed the bar exam in 2006, and went on to work as lawyer at the antitrust division of an international law firm based in Stuttgart from 2007-2012. In late 2012, he joined the central legal department of Robert Bosch GmbH as an antitrust law expert. Since 2015, Mathias has been the head of the antitrust law department.
