

Hans-Jurgen Meyer-Lindemann
Prof. Dr. Hans Jürgen Meyer-Lindemann is partner in Düsseldorf’s Pinsent Masons office. Practicing German and European competition law, he has handled high-profile merger control cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities ; major cartel investigations in a variety of industries ; and numerous litigation matters concerning both public and private enforcement before local and district courts, Germany’s Federal Supreme Court and the European courts. Prior to joining Pinsent Mason, Hans Jürgen Meyer-Lindemann was partner in Dechert and in Shearman & Sterling for over 20 years. He also previously worked in the Frankfurt and Düsseldorf offices of a leading German law firm, as well as in the Atlanta, Georgia office. In addition to his legal practice, he has published extensively on competition law topics and serves as a lecturer on competition law at Heinrich-Heine-Universität, Düsseldorf, where he has been appointed as Honorary Professor in 2013. He holds a J.D. degree from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität, Bonn.
