Leo Flynn, a graduate of the National University of Ireland and of Cambridge University, has been a member of the Legal Service of the European Commission since 2002. He is currently a member of the State aid team. Prior to that, he had been a Legal Secretary at the Court of Justice for five years. From 1992 to 1997, he lectured at King’s College, London and remains a member of its Centre for European Law. He has written widely on EU law, especially on selected competition law issues, on social policy and on EU law in national courts.
