David Thesmar

David Thesmar is a professor of finance at MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a graduate of école polytechnique, ENSAE, London School of Economics, and holds a PhD in economics from the école des hautes études en sciences sociales. In 2007 he was awarded « researcher of the year » and the title « best young French economist » by Le Monde and Le Cercle des économistes. His research focuses are corporate finance, financial intermediation and banking systems, entrepreneurship and behavioral finance.
