Bartosz is a partner and member of the competition law practice at WKB Wierciński Kwieciński Baehr. He holds a Ph.D. in law and is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland) and of the University of London – King’s College London where he earned an LL.M. in Competition Law. Prior to joining the Firm, Bartosz worked as case-handler for the Polish Competition Authority. He was also a trainee at the DG Competition Cartel Unit of the European Commission in Brussels and worked at the Brussels office of Skadden Arps. He is a lecturer at Postgraduate Diploma in Competition Law at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Bartosz is also a member of the University of Warsaw Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies (CARS), the Competition Law Association and Non-Governmental Advisor, which is a part of International Competition Network cartel subgroup. In 2013 his Ph.D. thesis on leniency programs was awarded in the XLVIII Polish Nationwide Competition organized by „Państwo i Prawo” monthly magazine for the best habilitation and PH.D. thesis. He is an author of numerous publications on EU and Polish competition law, inducing a publication on leniency and a co-author of an Act on Competition and Consumer Protection Commentary and of an Act on Damages for Infringement of Competition Law Commentary. He is recommended by Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 in the area of Competition/antitrust as well as features in Who’s Who Legal Competition Lawyers and Future Leaders.
