Aljoša Krdzic is a partner at Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners. He joined the firm in 2012, soon after he graduated “cum laude” in Law from the University of Ljubljana. Aljoša practices corporate law, with primary focus on M&A and competition law. This has been also reflected in Aljoša’s post-graduation educational activities. In 2013, he attended the Advanced Training Course in the field of EU Competition law organized by College of Europe, while in 2017 he obtained Master of Laws degree from the New York University in the field of Competition, Innovation and Information Law. Aljoša regularly advises and represents significant Slovenian and international companies, active in various commercial and industry sectors. Although he has vast knowledge from various fields of law, his experiences are especially extensive with respect to competition law and antitrust matters. Aljoša regularly advises clients in respect to merger notifications, is engaged in detailed due diligence reviews, advises clients in respect to their future commercial arrangements, performs educational tutorials for clients covering all aspects of competition law/antitrust matters. It is exactly his proves in competition law that has allowed him to be recognized by Chambers Europe 2020 as an Associate to watch, his glowing review noting that he “has a growing reputation in the areas of merger control and merger restraints and regularly advises clients on abuse of dominance matters as well as horizontal agreements.” One peer describes him as an "extremely hard worker and very competent man," and goes on to say that "he tries to come up with creative ways to solve issues; he is very responsive and proactive - he is a safe pair of hands." He is also recognized as a rising star by Legal 500 for the EMEA region.
