Senior Advisor - Head of Group for Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development in Serbian European Integration Office

Zoran Sretić is specialist for EU Law, environmental law, EU Competition Law, intellectual property rights, and the Internal Market rules. He is, currently, head of Group for Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development in Serbian European Integration Office monitoring and coordinating government’s activities in the process of Serbian accession to the EU in the relevant fields. One of his main responsibilities is advising Serbian Accession Negotiation Structure and providing legal analyses of government’s legislative policies and measures in relation to the EU environmental Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Internal Market regime, including smooth implementation of trade and competition provisions of Stabilization and Association Agreement concluded between Serbia and EU. He holds the LLM in Competition Law obtained from Queen Mary University of London, and Master of Law Science degree obtained from European Center for Peace and Development of United Nations University for Peace in Belgrade. He published several articles covering topics in the field of EU environmental law, competition law, Internal Market Law, intellectual property rights, etc. He was a contributor for the study of Effects of Integration of Serbia into EU (FEFA Faculty 2009, Belgrade); public brochure Product Safety and SAA (Ministry for Trade and Services, 2009, Belgrade); Treaty of Lisbon - safe bay or beginning of another journey? (Službeni glasnik, 2010, Belgrade). He holds the co-authorship on The Business Guide to the Stabilization and Association Agreement, ISAC fund, 2008, Belgrade, European Integration Challenges in the Field of Environment and Sustainable Development (PALGO centar, 2011), and Guide through the EU Policies – Trade (Evropski pokret u Srbiji, 2011).
