Yi Ying

Mr. Ying is a member in White & Case’s Global Competition Practice Group. His practice focuses on antitrust investigations and litigation, merger clearance and other commercial litigation matters. Mr. Ying represents clients in investigations by various antitrust agencies, including experience before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and state agencies. He is also involved in cases in both federal and state courts. Mr. Ying has experience with Chinese antitrust issues. He is also serving as a special writer for a Chinese national newspaper on the topic of Chinese antitrust and security enforcement developments. In addition to his legal education in the US, Mr. Ying obtained his civil law degree from a top Japanese college. Mr. Ying was a summer associate in our Tokyo office during his first summer at law school, and he spent the second summer with our Washington office. Mr. Ying is also a native speaker of Mandarin and Shanghainese. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Ying worked at a Magic Circle law firm’s Shanghai office as a Chinese Legal Consultant for two years. Mr. Ying is also committed to serving pro bono clients on behalf of the Firm, and he has been involved in various matters.
