W. Allan Edmiston is a business litigator and trial lawyer who focuses his practice on complex commercial and corporate matters, including UCC and contract disputes, direct and derivative shareholder suits, investor actions and contests over corporate control, for clients in the financial services, hedge fund, private equity, manufacturing and apparel industries, among others. In addition, Mr. Edmiston defends prominent law and accounting firms, as well as their professionals, against lawsuits alleging malpractice, negligence and breaches of fiduciary duty. Finally, Mr. Edmiston litigates entertainment-related disputes involving copyright, right of publicity, idea submission, anti-piracy and contract claims, among others, on behalf of prominent clients in the motion picture, television and music industries.
