Vincent Martenet is the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration at the University of Lausanne since August 2021, and also acts in his tenure of Professor of Law there since September 2005 where he teaches Swiss and comparative constitutional law as well as competition law, after having practiced law more than five years. He holds a law degree from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), as well as a diploma of advanced studies and a doctorate degree from the University of Geneva (Switzerland). In addition, he was granted a master degree (LL.M.) by Yale University (United States) in 2000. He has also occupied various positions at the Swizz Competition between 2005 and 2017, acting as member, vice-president, and eventually chairman. His fields of interest are constitutional law, public economic law and competition law.
