PhD in Law and Sciences Po Paris, Véronique Magnier is Professor of Law at Paris XI Law School, and Responsible for the Master’s degree in Corporate law and Securities Regulation. She teaches also at Paris II University, and Sciences Po Paris ; she is the Scientific Director of The Dalloz Encyclopaedia for Corporate Law. She has written books and articles in the areas of corporate Law, European and comparative law, and Constitutional Civil Procedure. Her most recent publications include "Would introducing Securities Class actions in France be appropriate?" (PUF, 2005), "What is at stake if Class Actions are introduced in France?" (vol. 73, Defense Counsel Journal, July 2006); She was Visiting Researcher at Georgetown University (1996- 1998).
