Szymon Syp is a research scholar at the Warsaw School of Economics and cooperates as a lawyer (of Counsel) with Polish law firms where he deals with corporate law, M&As and competition law issues. Szymon worked for a few years at Polish and international law firms based in Warsaw (Poland). Szymon is also known for his academia research (economics and law) whose, academic interests include: competition law, economics of merger control, convertible bonds, capital markets. He graduated from the University of Warsaw School of Law (law) and is a Ph.D. candidate (economics) at the Department of International Law, Warsaw School of Economics, Ph.D. candidate (law) at the University of Warsaw School of Law. Szymon studied and was a scholar at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, University of Indiana Maurer School of Law (2009 and 2010/2011 scholarship for Master of Laws Thesis Program – LL.M.T) and Columbia Law School Summer Program (2009). He also graduated from the Center for American Law Studies, joint course organized by the University of Warsaw School of Law and Levin College of Law, University of Florida.
