


Svend Albæk
Svend Albæk is Adviser to the Chief Economist since 2011. As Deputy Chief Economist in the European Commission’s Competition Directorate-General he coordinated the work of the Chief Economist Team in the field of antitrust. Prior to joining the Commission in 1998 Svend was associate professor of economics at the University of Copenhagen where he taught industrial economics.
