Gintarė Surblytė is a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich where she conducts research in the field of competition law with a specific focus on the interface of competition and intellectual property law. In 2011, she finished her Ph.D. studies (graded “summa cum laude”) at Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, supported by the scholarship from the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law (now Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition). Gintarė Surblytė studied law at Vilnius University in Lithuania and also holds an LL.M. degree which she obtained from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich in 2007.
