Sara Buccino is a member of the unit “Economic Issues in Competition Policy” of the Bundeskartellamt since 2012. She holds a Ph.D. in Law and Economics from the LUISS University in Rome, a LL.M. in Law and Economics from the Universities of Rotterdam, Hamburg and Aix-en-Provence and a BA cum laude in Economics from the University of Bologna. During her studies she was an intern at DG Competition and at the Italian competition authority (AGCM). Before joining the Bundeskartellamt, she worked as economic consultant.
