Piotr Borowiec is an experienced in-house legal counsel specializing in EU competition law, antitrust, and commercial. Currently, he acts as a Senior Legal Counsel for UNIMOT, an Oil&Gas company, in Poland. Prior to that Piotr was a Lead Competition Legal Counsel for PKN ORLEN (Warsaw, Poland), and CANPACK (Cracow, Poland). Before starting as an in-house, he was an attorney at Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak and Hogan Lovells. He also worked at the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection as a case handler. He graduated from Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, Piotr also accomplished postgraduate studies on competition law at Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He is admitted to the Warsaw Bar of Attorneys-at-law and is a member of the Polish Competition Law Association.
