Peter Ohrlander is working as policy officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA). Prior to working for the DG FISMA, Peter worked at the DG Competition and in private practice for Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton where he was advising clients in various sectors with regard to merger and competition law. He also clerked at the General Court of the European Union. Peter graduated from Lund University in 1998 and also holds a D.E.A., Droit Communautaire Européen from the University of Montpellier and a Master of European Affairs from the College of Europe in Bruges.
