Mr. Patrick Harrison is a partner with Sidley Austin. He focuses on EU and UK competition law. Patrick trained as a solicitor in London before moving to Brussels in 2003 to practice EU and UK competition law. Patrick joined Sidley’s Brussels office in 2005 and relocated to the firm’s London office in 2007. Patrick has significant experience in merger control, cartel investigations, litigation, distribution practices, and antitrust counseling on a broad variety of commercial practices. He has been involved in a variety of high profile cases before the European Commission, the European Courts and the national competition authorities in the United Kingdom. Patrick has extensive experience in advising clients on sports regulatory and commercialisation issues and has advised clients in a range of other business sectors such as media, insurance, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, forestry products, automotive parts and glass. Patrick has contributed to presentations at competition law conferences organized by the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium.
