Pascal Bergue is part of the COMP team at the European Commission since 2019. He is a member of the legal service. Pascal Berghe was a référendaire (legal secretary) at the General Court of the European Union from 2015 to 2018. Prior to joining the chambers of Judge Forrester at the General Court in 2015, he practised EU competition law and general EU law at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton (2005-2006) and White & Case (2007-2015). Pascal studied at Université de Liège (2004), College of Europe (LL.M in European Legal Studies, 2005) and New York University (LL.M in Trade Regulation, 2007). He is the author or co-author of various publications, including : "Who is the Predator (2) ? The French Competition Council’s GSK Predation Decision is Overruled", Competition Law Insight, July 1, 2008 ; "Korea-EU trade relationship : where do we stand ?", Korean International Trade Association, June 2008”
